I downloaded from your internet site the file "mym2q522(2).exe" into a temp
directory. I double clicked on this file and it appeared to be unzipping until a message
appeared that "Could not run m2qsetup.exe /s". At this point, everything
stopped. The only file in the temp directory was the downloaded one.
I have your program on my old computer (I have a new computer) and ran it with no
problems.

5:20 PM 9/3/1998 Dear Ranny,
I licensed MYM2QIFW a number of months ago, (key # 9F84C28DFD5CE86BD66BD3) & just
updated to the latest version from your WebSite a few days ago.
I converted from MYM 12 DOS to MYM 2.1 for windows as you had suggested in a phone
conversation we had a few months ago, (I finally found time to do the conversion today)
Although the balances in MYM 2.1 are correctly translated from MYM 12 DOS, when
MYM2QIFW translates them, all of the balances are WAY OFF in Quicken '98.
I called your number but got a fax machine - I HOPE THIS FAX REACHES YOU.
PLEASE CALL ME RIGHT AWAY - TOLL FREE AT 1-888-562-8094 - I AM STUCK!!!
Thank you, Alan W. Hinden
P.S. I just noticed that the Key doesn't match since upgrading to 5.22

I have three accounts with over 5 years worth of data, in MYMWIN ver. 2.0. The largest
account is about 4 MB of data. I hope your utility can accurately create a .QIF file with
all my securities purchases, price history, etc. I want to switch from MYMWIN v.2.0 to
Quicken 99.
HOWEVER,
I've tried creating a *.QIF file, and repeatedly get an error message:
Set-- MYM Data Files Path: e:\finance\mymwin2\jennifer\ Output Files Path:
f:\finance\quicke~1\
MYM Database Open Error Error attaching MYM data tables
I did ReIndex Tables just before attempting to create this *.QIF file. If you can give
me advice on how to correct this error message, then I will be happy to register this
program.
The serial number for my installation is: 52210022012164.WQ5 I am using Managing Your

Two seperate issues: 1) Account Names truncated to 15 characters when Quicken supports
up to 30 2) Category Names truncated to 15 characters when Quicken supports up to 32 3)
MYM2QIFW reports the "-" as an invalid character in account/category names,
Quicken actually allows it.
Second Problem: 1) On my paycheck deposit there are split allocations for taxes,
soc-sec, etc. One of the splits is actually allocated to another account. MYM2QIFW is not
translating this properly. After the import into Quicken the account balance are way off.
It appears to know that the transfer occured but is double posting it back to the checking
accoun.

Yesterday I tried to execute the importing of my data from MYM to Quicken 98 and all of
the transaction dates showed up as 12/31/19, which I think means 12/31/2019 (The regional
setting for short date was 'm/dd/yy' ). What can I do to fix this. Please respond ASAP. I
am looking forward to you response. Thank you very much. Pat McCaffrey

Always happens. I have gone meticulously through the prescribed steps to convert MYM12
to MS Money 99 at least 6 times. I am trying to import 2 years of transactions. I don't
have large accounts. What I get is a partial import with gaps in it. It is minimal, and
the balances are way off. I should mention that with each iteration, I have deleted all
files in both MYM12, MYM2QIF & Money, so that i would get a clen conversion.
I have printed all of the MYM2QIF screens to make sure that I have folowed all steps.
I can't vonvert to MYM2 because I can't get it. What do you advise?

StepsToReproduce
I am trying to translate from MYM12 to MS Money 99, using MYM2QIFW V5.33. I want all my
transactions in Money to be from 1/1/98 to the present. I have gone meticulously through
all steps described, at least 6 times. When the Money import process is complete, the
Money accounts contain less than half of the original transactions, and the balances are
completely off.
I have printed all of your instructions so I can be sure that each step has been
executed as instructed. Prior to each conversion re-try, I have deleted all files
generated by the conversion process, in MYM, MYM2QIFW & Money, in order to insure an
absolutely clean save, translation and import.
What do I do now?
