Any possibility the .hlp file could be supplemented with a .doc file for those of us who like to have a hard copy describing installation, processing, etc. at our side, rather than negotiating WinHelp? The .hlp file is comprehensive, mind you, but I found myself skipping around a lot. Or perhaps a .doc version could be made available at your Download site?

However, I don't want to loose history by simply converting balances at 12/31 and relying on two systems. Can you help with a conversion from MYM 2.1 to Quicken 6?

I'm here, trying to figure out how to convert my MYM11 files.

Suggestion

I have hundreds of categories in my MYM database. While importing the data into Quicken '98 it reported duplicate category names. Since it didn't tell me which name was duplicated it would be nice, if while importing/exporting the data, your program flagged duplicate names. I'm sure it was caused by the truncation to 15 characters imposed by Quicken.

I ran into a couple of problems trying to signup for and trial your conversion program because I'm using Quicken 99 and MYM from Royal Bank of Canada.

What QIF type do you check for Quicken 99 or when will this be available? I also have Quicken 98 and could do a Qif to Quicken 98 and then an export or convert. What's best?

What type is Royal Direct PC Banking with Managing your Money Version 1:00. This is a special version of MYM for Royal Bank of Canada. Their number is 1 800 769 2555.

Royal Bank have just recently allowed their users to use Quicken download (only on Quicken 99) and any of us that have investment files on Quicken will all be converting over. I just recently asked both their tech support and Intuit Canada and also a senior manager in Royal whether there was any way to convert my 2 years of MYM data over to Quicken - and nobody could help out! I found your website and would be pleased to test it out for you. Failing that, I'd like to register once we get the answers to the above questions.

Thank you.

After the installation when I was informed that your product was crippleware, I immediately came back to the web site to see if it said anything about that anywhere on your website and it doesn't. Not a very good way to do business. I am currently working with some of my programming friends to make a product that will convert files from several different products into quicken to post on the internet for free as an alterative to yours and make people aware of your business practices. Not very good business.

You need a method to take my MYMDOS v12 files directly and convert them to quicken format. Upon reading your directions and learning that I need to make an export of each individual account (I have many), I have decided it will be easier to convert to MYMWIN v.3. If intuit wants me as a customer, I need a painless way to convert all my MYM data. I also notice that once I am finished, my insruance organizer and similar stuff are not converted. This is a major loss of data as far as I am concerned.
